Nous ne reprendrons pas cet appartement

A disappointing stay — the flat smelled of damp, had visible mould, unclear deposit requirements, and poor communication Positive: We chose the property for the location which did not disappoint. Negative: The flat had a strong damp smell and visible mould in one bedroom. A £250 damages deposit (more than the cost of our stay) and proof of address were required before arrival which was not clearly stated prior to booking and something potential guests should make themselves aware of. After contacting the property twice after our stay the deposit was eventually released at 11:30am the following day despite leaving the apartment in a respectful condition. The communication around this felt dismissive and unhelpful and I do not recommend others to stay.
